How renting out your car works

1

List your car for free

Rent out your truck, sports car, or anything in between. Listing takes about 10 minutes and is free — no sign-up charges, no monthly fees.

2

Set your price & rules

Lay your own ground rules and customize when your car is available. Set your own daily price, or let Turo automatically adjust your price to maximize your earnings.

3

Welcome your guests

When a guest books your car, you’ll confirm where and how to hand over the keys before the trip.

Check your guest in with the Turo app, then sit back and relax until the trip is over.

4

Sit back & earn

Get paid via direct deposit within three days after each trip. Depending on the protection plan you select, you'll earn either 65%, 75% or 85% of the trip price. You'll also get reimbursed for things like fuel and any mileage beyond your limit.

What hosts are saying

Turo host and super dad Okey Obie discovered Turo when he was between jobs and now rents out his car to cover his family's bills.

I bring in about $600 a month from hosting, which more or less covers the cost of my car. That extra money was really helpful when I was between jobs.

I really wanted the Tesla Model 3 when it came out, but I knew when I bought it I probably couldn’t afford it. So I put it up on Turo almost right away, and so far it’s been really good. It covers my car payment and insurance most months.

“The San Francisco-based enterprise gives users access to budget-friendly options that rival the cost of a traditional car rental and features one-of-a-kind vehicles that will make your weekend road trip all the more ’grammable.”
